Day 18: What are your thoughts about the voice cast of AoD?
I think they did a great job, especially Jonell. Her voice work in Last Revelation and Chronicles was fine, but in this game, with the angrier, more sarcastic dialogue, she really shone.
I was surprised, back in 2003, when I read that Joss Ackland had done the voice of Eckhardt. In those days, famous actors doing videogame voiceover wasn’t as common. I thought that was cool, and I thought he did a great job voicing this villain without going too far over the top.

In additon to the actors shown below, Internet Movie Database credits Phil Morris as Karel. Unfortunately it doesn’t list the entire cast, nor do the game credits, so I’m not sure who did all the voices. I’ve read that Janice may have been Jonell putting on a French accent, but I don’t know this for sure. Anybody?

Day 17: Do you think Crystal Dynamics should have continued the AoD trilogy before moving on to their own?
No, I don’t. I think it would have been wonderful if Core Design had been able to finish their trilogy, but it’s not fair to expect one developer to take over another’s work. Each team needs to do what interests them and gets them fired them up for the job, even if that means leaving some loose ends.
